Navi Mumbai is a highly planned and fastest growing city of Maharashtra which is soon going to face a tremendous improvement by way of transport system when the Mumbai Metro Line 8 commonly known as Gold line or Airport Metro line becomes a reality. This will bring Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) directly to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai and will revolutionize the inter-city commuting experience and will make Navi Mumbai one of the major central transit hubs of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
